Robert A. Krause Named New Foundation CEO 

The Johnson Scholarship Foundation has named entrepreneur Robert A. Krause the Foundation‘s Chief Executive Officer, effective May 1. He was selected after a national search for the successor to R. Malcolm Macleod, who is retiring from the position. Macleod, who has served as President and CEO since 2001, has accepted the Board‘s invitation to serve as Chair of the Board of Directors. To read more, click here

Florida State University Celebrates Johnson Scholars

JSF grantee partner Eye to Eye recently was featured in a news story in thehill.com. The article was part of a series called Changing America and focused on the role of social and emotional learning for students with learning differences.

Video Highlights Nativity Prep's Graduate Support Program

JSF grantee partner Nativity Preparatory School of Boston has produced a video about its Graduate Support Program, which assists alumni throughout their educational journey. JSF is among the supporters of this program.

JSF Director Shares Her Experience with Building Partnerships Through Relationships

In a recent article, Sherry Salway Black, Vice President of JSF's Board of Directors, discussed her experiences with building partnerships in Indian Country. The essay was part of a series on community building and philanthropy published by Nonprofit Quarterly in partnership with First Nations Development Institute.

JSF Scholarship Applications Open

The application period is now open for JSF's scholarship for children of regular full-time, permanent part-time and retired UPS employees in Florida. Also open is the scholarship application for Florida students with disabilities who are enrolled in or plan to attend one of the 12 institutions in the State University System of Florida.
